After looking through all the staunton sets. I kept coming back to this one. The preportions are just perfect. The detail is so crisp. Each piece is weighted perfectly. Craftsmanship of the highest quality. I bought these knowing they won’t fit on the board I just made. I’ll just have to make another the squares are 45mm and 7mm thick. Need to make a board 55mm or 60mm squares. I’ll treasure this set forever. It’s the best set in my collection.
